John O. Missirian, M.D.
Dr. Missirian has been in practice
in California since 1982. He joined The Orthopaedic Group
of San Francisco, Inc. in 1983. His subspecialty is foot
and ankle.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree and his medical degree
from the American University of Beirut. He did his residency
in General Surgery at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio,
St. Luke’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and his Orthopaedic
Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital. He completed a
fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital in Downey, California
on Diabetic Foot and Amputee Rehabilitation and a foot and
ankle fellowship with Roger Mann, M.D.

Dr. Missirian is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a
member of the San Francisco Medical Society,
California Medical Association, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle
Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
He has served as Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at
Seton Medical Center and has taught at San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency
Training Program. He was a Consultant to Letterman Army Medical
Center. He
was appointed by Governor George Deukmejian to the Medical Quality
Review Committee from 1987 to 1993 and has been an Expert Medical
Reviewer since 1995 and a Qualified Medical Examiner since 1994.
